Dinner @ St. James on Venice Hotel

So I went to a Dinner party this past weekend @ St. James on Venice Boutique Hotel in Morning side and I’ll tell you this much,.. I've never laughed my head off so much & have fun with new people! I was invited by the hosts friend (Ibah Ibanathi Ngcobo), who also happens to be my dear friend and so I decided to be black and tag along with me my brother (for transport purposes -eham...seeing as I still don't have a license).

A Rich pink and black was the theme with a selected number of ten guests. Being the anti-pink girl that I am I did a stylish black and white look paired with nautical Mr Price wedges and nerd glasses. The setting was beautiful and the people even better. Friends from back in the days gathered to celebrate and embrace Khule Mvuyana on his 21st birthday. This guy is a personage, witty, "yes-i-am-gay" young man who made it a sealed great night for all of us who graced his day.

Everything was well planned, and as the dishes turned themselves in, from the starters which consisted of Pear and Blue Cheese on Toasted Crostini topped with micro greens and a pear reduction to their exquisite Coconut Pork Fillet with Peach Bourbon demi-glace served with roasted vegetables and parisienne potatoes which was our main course dish. I must have tapped my brother 5 times to see the look on his face as that parisienne potato melted in his mouth lol. We then washed down the meal with a good glass of Anura Chardonnay with excellent notes of peaches and limes. Ah I was in heaven for a night. Thanks to great people.
Much love to Khule Mvuyana.
