I have missed a lot of Mr Price and Elle competitions due to a busy and hectic young life schedule, well...not this year!I've designed my range of eight garments yesterday, though it took me weeks to self approve it as I had to do a lot of research and find understanding in what I stand for as a young designer, along with what i want my brand to represent and be. Many a time i found myself scratching out ideas that I had already approved and bringing in something else.The brief reads as follows;
• Designs for a range that shows exactly what your label will be about and what you stand for as a designer. It should consist of eight outfits and can be for men or women. The collection must be submitted in storyboard format and not be larger than A3. Fabric swatches and technical drawings
must accompany your storyboard.
Sadly I cannot post any pictures of what I have put together for you but i will say that I'm happy with what I have right now and all that's left now is some photoshop, illustrator and corelDraw work along with printing and fabric swatches...No sleep for this girl.
