The BackPack

With fashion being such a time spin, seeing a lot of oldies play out as current trends and the near future trending items is in the cards or presupposed. We all have those childhood memories with the backpack, something that passed as an essential 'book-keeper' rather than a fashion statement as it is now.

The word backpack was coined in the United States in the 1910s. moneybag and packsack were terms used before. They were often preferred to handbags for carrying heavy loads or carrying any sort of equipment, but with fashion's introduction to doing/wearing things that are off-the-wall and unconventional one would only call it stylish or fashionable to rather carry a backpack thats half empty - probably containing a phone, gloss, shades, purse and passport- with any look of choice co-ordinated for the day as oppose to befitting smaller handbags. These easy, functional and once over looked totes are still a big trend that perks up any outfit.
