We Went Retro @ The Durban Vintage Market!

Fresh lemonade in jam jars, ladies in circle skirts and their shiny well gelled curls, the slow sounds of old classic hits that played from a vinyl record player, these were a few vintage happenings that had 500 Durbanites living in the 1950's this past Saturday at the Durban Light Infantry Hall.

Good people came together to celebrate and be a part of the nostalgia. Retro clothing, baroque jewelry, classic vinyl records and ancient antiques were on sale at good old resonable prices, as professional hairstylists sprayed, pinned up and curled the ladies in true 1950’s style. Persuing the market I came across beautiful people with cool artisan vibes and two cute animal brooches that I just had to have for my blazers, both going at R15 each,  Another great market day in Durban with great coffee from the Grean Bean stand. All thanks to Micaela De Freitas.
