I am sitting at home, unwrapping a few gift bags whilst updating on tweets about what's happening in the city. The aftermath of The Vodacom Durban July is this that and the other for many of us. The list of activities are overwhelming and Durban's chilled Sunday vibes are warming up very quickly, fused with the likes of 'Joburgers' who will not miss a party. For WHAT?!
What a great as fast weekend it's been.
The past Friday saw me running around like an A-list socialite that I am not, leaving work early to sort out the hair, the brief meeting and the dress that had to be compromised and improvised last minute. Friday night I was a guest to Gateway's Vodacom Durban July Preview Fashion Show and Concert, along with my partner, an invite we both could not resist. Just as I expected, I was greeted with a great buzzing atmosphere as I entered, with blaring music further stirring up the excitement for all involved. Beautiful people in 50's Hollywood glam made up the VIP crowd. Not only did we get to witness amazing people and designs but also to see local designers and bloggers let their hair down and engage with each other on a good night out. The service from Primedia lifestyle was truly awesome throughout the event. So, a big thank you to Sane and her Team for such pleasures!
