The Kenzo AW2014 show showcased a fun twist to the common black eye colour look with a lot of bold blue lashes and blue winged eyeliner on the girls. And without even being bias (if for unknown reasons I may come cross as though I am) I really think the colour looks a tad bit more captivating on the darker skin tones.
On my visiting the Pavilion mall this past weekend I spotted Elaine Mohlahlane (probably my most loved professional make-up artist) at Calvin Klein (yes she is at CK beauty!) and she got me trying out something a little out of my comfort zone… the blue. Interestingly enough, though I was a bit reluctant, yet loved it on her, I was enthused by the pop of the beautiful colour.
[FYI, we aren't as light skinned as we look here… the store lighting makes us look rather brighter but the colour looked much daring with the naked eye. ] hahahaha.
