Pessed and punched

The Japanese continue to create seriously innovative material objects. Design studio Nendo showcases a fabric with multifaceted qualities. Sheets of artificial suede are layered, rolled and cut to produce stunning woodgrain patterns. The effects using a material called Alcantara – made from 68 per cent polyester and 32 per cent polyurethane, and produced by the Italian company of the same name. Something quite interesting if you ask me.
