Creative Rest...Sweet Dream Pillowcases

Created by an interesting illustrator, designer and artist based in Cape Town, South Africa, who goes by his original name Daniel Ting Chong(of course). The AM/PM pillow covers are simple, clean typography at its best for a creative rest.

 

"I was committed to throwing myself into the deep end and facing the pressure of bills" - says Daniel on Obrigado magazine(autumn 2013 issue).

 

After reading that line I took an extended breathe before reading it again, followed by a slight nod as a symbol of respect towards his move. One really needs to be fearless and take huge leaps like these as an artist these days! That is the only way one becomes an influencer and proper respected creative. Nice work to Daniel who also has design collaborations with leading international brands including Nike, New York Times and the Discovery Channel under his belt. Wow. I would love owning these awesome pillowcases just from knowing a little about the person behind them! Maybe even soak in a few of his creativeness in my sleep. Who knows.
