The Taste of Durban

Greasy-faced children popped the whip through the crowd and babies lunched at their mothers' milk while we gallivanted around white tents in search for tasteful treats.

It's been quite the experience at the Taste of Durban these past three days at the Suncoast casino. Yesterday was perfect weather over hundreds of foodies in attendance enjoying the gastronomic delights by the different restaurants. My taste buds where overwhelmed by the drinks and the food textures, flavours and aromas that filled my mouth and the festival. On a mission to finish two cards of twenty crowns each that went for R100(CROWNS are the festival currency used at Taste Festivals to purchase food and drinks from the restaurants, bars and exhibitors each containing 20 tickets inside) I got the chance to learn how to mix professional signature cocktails at the THIRST Bar which is a mobile cocktail bar and run wild on red velvet and lint cupcakes with my friends.

Over all it was a good day with good friends.
