I have a penchant for simple elegant personal working areas and strongly believe in people working around their life(what represents them), doing what you love and around your comforts. I wake up to my laptop everyday with my “work desk” situated in my bedroom, right opposite my bed.

I found my wooden desk and a small round table when one of my neighbours where moving out four years ago, they had discarded these by the road in hopes that they would either magically disappear or find a new owner within a couple of minutes -which they did all thanks to my roaming around the precinct. I also own a huge pile of magazines which I have collected over the years; i love giving stuff double functions so they served as literature and light stands or pot plant stands sometimes. The idea of living with the bare essentials is something that appeals to me immensely. Using clear bottle and plain boxes as storage and fusing an array of vintage items with recycled personal pieces. The very thought behind it even more that its aesthetic as I believe it is a durable alternative and the antidote to this over-consuming impropriety that we have.

I found these images on designinspiration and Just LOVE the minimal airy spaces and the alternative use of certain things!
