SUSCCESS APPLIES IN PERSONAL CAPACITY TOO

"If we, as individuals, see ourselves as businesses and brands, then I think the principle of constant change in order to achieve success applies in a personal capacity too."
- Poppy Evans

Many of you know this talented lady who use to be Senior fashion editor at Elle Magazine SA now graces the Cosmopolitan SA offices, along side a gifted Asanda Sizani who apart from other things now writes for Grazia SA magazine. It's rather strange to see Elle SA's fashion editing department shedding such talent that's been a part of it's growth for a good number years. I always say people do not move out or move in, unless there's something bigger and better where they are going, but apart from all that thought my main gist to this post was to highlight a quote from Poppy posted on an interview with Londiwe Mbhele, all I am going to mention is that she couldn't have said it any better! Change is inevitable, especially on a path towards bigger success.

Best luck to the ladies and their new ventures!

  1. I have been wondering why everyone is leaving ELLE SA.

  2. Likewise. But I see the March issue of ELLE SA has a small spread on Asanda Sizani where she briefly speaks of new ventures/life, she also spoke such beautiful words(which I will be posting up as well). Otherwise, no matter how glamorous a position you've landed, change is necessary for growth. "Once you've reach your goals, set higher ones and keep moving on" - Spotted Thanda Kunene as well on this month's issue! :) #welldone! Glad he entered! (as long side him shooting for Top Shop SA). Keep & grow the dream!
